Amritsar, March 06, 2025 – EMC Group of Hospitals organized a significant seminar aimed at enhancing coordination among its hospitals in Amritsar, Batala, Gurdaspur, and Pathankot. The primary objective of the seminar was to ensure that patients receive timely and accurate treatment, especially in critical cases, while promoting the adoption of modern medical technologies. The event focused on strengthening collaboration between EMC Hospital branches to eliminate delays in treatment and provide patients with access to the right doctors and medical facilities at the right time.
The seminar emphasized improving patient care through streamlining the admission process, developing strategies to provide prompt treatment to critical patients, and ensuring safe and swift patient transfers between hospitals when necessary. Additionally, discussions were held on leveraging new technologies such as online consultations (VC) and artificial intelligence (AI) to facilitate real-time medical advice between senior doctors and remote hospitals. This would help in closely monitoring patients’ conditions and keeping families informed about their loved ones in real time.
Key steps were also deliberated upon to enhance emergency patient safety and care, including establishing a robust system for quick and safe patient transportation, implementing measures to prevent fatalities during transit, ensuring the availability of specialist doctors in remote areas, and strengthening emergency services during nighttime. The seminar also focused on defining the roles and responsibilities of hospital heads and staff to effectively manage emergency situations and provide swift medical assistance to patients.
The seminar was led by Dr. Rishabh Arora, Vice Chairman of EMC Group, who addressed doctors and hospital administrators. He emphasized that better coordination, adoption of advanced technologies, and full preparedness for emergencies are key to saving lives.
