Freedom’s Celebration, A Confluence of Pride – Patriotic Spirit Resonates at EMC Cradle
Amritsar: This year’s Independence Day at EMC Cradle was celebrated with colors of patriotism, joy, and enthusiasm, creating an atmosphere that touched every heart. From the morning itself, the campus was adorned in the hues of the tricolor. From the entrance gate to the main stage, every corner reflected the dignity of the Indian flag.

The day began at 8 a.m. with the flag hoisting ceremony, led by Director Dr. Samiksha Arora, who unfurled the national flag. The gathering joined together to sing the National Anthem with full fervor, spreading waves of patriotism throughout the atmosphere. Faces lit up with pride as the tricolor fluttered high.
Cultural Presentations Captivate the Audience
The next phase of the program was marked by cultural performances. Students staged a moving play on the struggles of freedom fighters, leaving the audience emotional. Patriotic songs and group dances by young children won everyone’s hearts. Through poems and speeches, students expressed their love and devotion toward the nation, reinforcing the message that freedom is not merely a gift, but an ongoing responsibility.

In her address, Dr. Arora said: “Independence Day is not just a national festival, it is a celebration of our soul. It reminds us of the sacrifices, courage, and determination of our brave martyrs. We must ensure that we contribute actively to the progress of our nation. Education, discipline, and unity are our greatest strengths, and if we adopt these values, India can achieve the highest stature in the world.”
She further urged the youth to prioritize the nation’s interest alongside their personal dreams. “If today’s youth move forward with honesty, hard work, and positive thinking, nothing can stop India’s progress,” she emphasized.
A Unique Spirit of Unity and Patriotism
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation not only from students, teachers, and staff but also from a large number of parents. Together, everyone sang ‘Vande Mataram’, which added even more energy to the atmosphere. The program concluded with the distribution of sweets, marking the end of a memorable celebration.
