Instead, patients should be given plenty of rest, proper sleep, and ample fluids such as water, coconut water, and lemon water to help the body fight the virus naturally. He also stressed the importance of isolating the patient, wearing masks, and maintaining hand hygiene to prevent transmission within the household.
He underlined key prevention measures including frequent handwashing, eating a balanced and nutritious diet, regular exercise, and ensuring adequate sleep. Additionally, he advised wearing masks in crowded places and maintaining distance from infected individuals. Since children and the elderly are more vulnerable, extra caution should be taken in their care.
