Humanitarian Initiative by EMC Group of Hospitals Free Medical Services and Relief Support for Flood Victims
Amritsar, Punjab —
The recent floods in several parts of Punjab have left thousands of families in deep distress. At this critical time, EMC Group of Hospitals has set a remarkable example of humanity and service by announcing a special free medical assistance program for flood-affected people.

EMC Group, which operates 11 branches across Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Pathankot, and Batala, has pledged active participation in relief efforts and to extend quality healthcare services to those impacted. Under this initiative, flood-affected patients will receive free indoor treatment. Additionally, 10 beds at each of the hospitals in Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Pathankot, and Batala have been reserved exclusively for victims.
To ensure smooth execution of relief measures, dedicated medical teams will be deployed, and essential medicines will also be provided free of cost. These services will be extended only to those individuals recommended by government officials or authorized relief coordinators.
EMC management has clarified that the initiative carries no personal or commercial interest. The institution emphasized that, as a healthcare provider, it is their moral responsibility to stand with the citizens of Punjab during this difficult time. Director Dr. Rishabh Arora stated, “We will make every possible effort to provide safe and timely healthcare facilities. It is our commitment to work hand in hand with the Punjab Government and administration to deliver necessary health services to the affected citizens.”
For years, EMC Group of Hospitals has been recognized for its quality and reliability in healthcare services across Punjab and neighboring regions. With state-of-the-art technology, specialized doctors, and patient-centered care, the institution has earned the trust of the people.
The flood disaster has brought immense pain to the state, but institutions like EMC are demonstrating that with compassion and a spirit of service, tough times can indeed be overcome. EMC’s initiative is not only medical assistance but also a humanitarian message for the entire state—that in times of crisis, unity and collective strength are the way forward.
