EMC Hospital, Batala Successfully Organizes Health Check-up, Blood Donation, and Free Medicine Distribution Camp
Batala, Punjab: On September 29, 2024, Dr. Rishabh Arora, Director of EMC Hospital, Batala, organized a special health check-up, blood donation, and free medicine distribution camp in collaboration with CRPF and the Ex-Servicemen Welfare Association of Punjab. The event took place at Gurudwara Shaheed Bibi Sundar Kaur Ji (Chhota Ghallughra), Naya Gaon Bahadur, Nowshera (Gurdaspur) from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Purpose of the Camp Dr. Rishabh Arora stated, “Our main objective is to improve the health of the local community and provide them with essential healthcare services. This camp was organized so that as many people as possible could get their health checked and receive necessary medicines.”

Services Provided The camp offered several health services, including:
- Blood Pressure Check: To determine whether your blood pressure is normal.
- Sugar Level Check: To assess the amount of sugar in your blood.
- BMI (Body Mass Index) Measurement: A measurement of your health based on your weight and height. Additionally, all attendees were provided with free medicines.
Public Participation A large number of people attended the camp and took advantage of the health check-up services. Many also expressed their willingness to donate blood, helping those in need.
Future Plans EMC Hospital plans to organize such camps in the future to raise awareness about health and encourage timely health check-ups.
