The Critical Care Department at EMC Hospital is equipped with a 60-bed ICU and 30 emergency beds, ready to handle the most severe cases. Additionally, the department boasts 40 advanced ventilators. It also features cutting-edge diagnostic facilities such as bedside echocardiography, X-rays, EEG, EMG, and NCV, enabling quick and accurate decision-making by the doctors. For critically ill patients, ICU bedside dialysis is also available to address kidney support needs.
The department operates 24/7 with expert care. Under the guidance of Dr. Pankaj Soni, MD Anesthesia & Critical Care Specialist, a team of five senior MD Anesthesia specialists remains available round the clock to manage complex and critical cases, ensuring the highest level of patient care. Additionally, the nursing staff is specially trained in critical care, supported by two expert nursing heads who monitor ICU care quality.
Advanced systems, such as an automated lab sample collection system in the ICU, enhance diagnostic efficiency and accuracy. The emergency unit is equipped with all life-saving devices, prepared to handle any critical situation with the latest technology.
