The Critical Care Department at EMC Hospital is equipped with a 60-bed ICU and 30 emergency beds, designed to handle severe cases. Additionally, the department features 40 advanced ventilators. Advanced diagnostic facilities such as bedside echo, bedside X-ray, EEG, EMG, and NCV are available at the patient’s bedside, enabling doctors to make immediate and accurate decisions. The ICU also offers bedside dialysis for critically ill patients requiring kidney support.

The Critical Care Department operates 24×7, providing expert care. Led by Dr. Pankaj Soni, MD in Anesthesia and Critical Care, a team of five senior MD Anesthesia specialists is always available to manage the most complex and critical cases, ensuring patients receive the highest level of care. Furthermore, the hospital’s nursing staff is specially trained in critical care, with two expert nursing heads overseeing ICU care quality.
