Amritsar, March 8, 2025 – On the occasion of International Women’s Day, EMC Cradle organized a special workshop to promote women’s health and well-being. This workshop was conducted under the leadership of Amritsar’s Deputy Commissioner (DC), Mrs. Sakshi Sahni, IAS, and was facilitated by the District Administration of Amritsar. Numerous employees of the Punjab government participated in the event.
The primary objective of the workshop was to raise awareness about physical, mental, and emotional health among women. Dr. Rishabh Arora, Director of EMC Group, delivered an inspiring lecture on the importance of maintaining a work-life-health balance for women. He emphasized how women can lead a healthy and fulfilling life by effectively balancing their professional responsibilities, family duties, and personal well-being. He also highlighted the need for women to prioritize their health and mental peace, in addition to caring for their families and society.
A team of senior specialists from EMC Cradle was also present at the workshop, sharing valuable insights on various health topics. The discussions covered mental health, hormonal balance, nutrition, pregnancy, menopause, gynecological issues, and overall women’s health. Experts explained how regular health check-ups, a balanced diet, yoga, and meditation can contribute to a healthier lifestyle for women.
Speaking at the event, Ms. Samiksha Arora, Director of EMC Cradle, stated, “Women are the backbone of society, yet they often neglect their own health. At the conclusion of the workshop, all participants were provided with special wellness kits containing essential nutritional items and healthcare materials to help them prioritize their health in their daily lives. Additionally, a high-tea session and an open discussion were organized, allowing women to share their personal experiences and seek expert health advice.
