Early diagnosis can significantly improve the quality of life for patients and provide much-needed support to their families.” He also emphasized the importance of regular health check-ups for the elderly to detect early signs of mental decline.
Consultant Neurologist Dr. Sarabjit elaborated on the symptoms and risk factors associated with Alzheimer’s disease. He said, “Memory loss, confusion, difficulty in problem-solving, and changes in behavior are common symptoms of Alzheimer’s. It is especially important for caregivers to remain vigilant about these signs and seek medical assistance promptly.”
